Objective: to compare the association between visual classification of profile images and lateral cephalometric analysis of anterior malar projection in the population of North Gujrat. Method: The study comprised the pretreatment data of 100 North Gujarat natives aged 15 to 25 who sought orthodontic treatment. On the basis of visual evaluation of negative and positive vector relationships, the individuals were separated into two groups of 50 each. Group A consisted of 50 individuals (25 males and 25 females) with a positive vector association. Group B consisted of 50 individuals (25 males and 25 females) with a negative vector connection.
