Abstract

Abstract Solubilization and mineralization of soil nutrients for direct plant uptake, synthesis and regulation of hormones, production of volatile organic molecules, microbial enzyme, suppression of plant pathogens, amelioration of abiotic stress, and so on are all actions that contribute to PGPF's promotion of plant growth. Improvements in germination, vigour, growth, root development, photosynthetic rate, early blooming, and increased flowering have all been linked to PGPF, either directly or indirectly. The significance of PGPF in maintaining rhizosphere competence and stability is crucial. Most PGPF rely on successful colonisation as a prerequisite for displaying their positive features. When PGPF colonise a plant, they interact with the root system with a degree of specificity that has a positive impact on the crop.
