Abstract

The current study included measuring the concentration of white blood cells and some other blood variables for 210 samples of women referred to the outpatient clinics andSalah El-Din General Hospital for a period from October 2021 to March 2022. Their ages ranged between (20-40) years and the samples were divided into four groups. A group with toxoplasmosis, a group with diabetes and toxoplasmosis, a group with diabetes, a control group. The results of the statistical analysis showed a significant increase in the concentration of white blood cells for women with toxoplasmosis, which amounted to (11.750±3.541) compared with control group. While the concentration of white blood cells decreased in the two groups of women with diabetes only, diabetes and toxoplasmosis together, reaching (7.450 ± 1.746, 7,903 ± 1.999) respectively compared with the control group (7.804 ± 1.717) at a significant level of p≤0.05, and when studying the concentration of blood cells The results of the statistical analysis showed that there was no significant difference in the concentration of red blood cells in women with toxoplasmosis compared to control group, as well as the statistical results showed no significant difference in the concentration of red blood cells in women with diabetes only, while The statistical results showed a significant decrease in the concentration of red blood cells in women with diabetes and toxoplasmosis together, which amounted to (4.030 ± 0.633) compared with control group, which amounted to (4.414 ± 0.353). Regarding the concentration of hemoglobin, the statistical results showed a significant decrease in both group of women with toxoplasmosis only, the group with diabetes only and the group with toxoplasmosis and diabetes together were (10.750 ± 1.592), (10,853 ± 0.862), (10,203 ± 0.688) respectively compared with control group (11.860 ± 0.688).
