Background: The prevalence and incidence of heart failure (HF), a prevalent cardiovascular illness, have recently been rising. The prevention and management of it are more difficult due to the multiple risk factors that contribute to its genesis. The current study's objective was to evaluate the clinical characteristics of heart failure patients. Methods: Between September 2021 and July 2022, a prospective observational study was conducted among the patients hospitalised to the SKMCH's Department of Medicine in Muzaffarpur, Bihar. The study comprised patients who met the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) HF criteria. Based on a population study and hospital OPD, the prevalence of congestive heart failure was assessed.
