Aim: To study symptomatic and asymptomatic urinary tract infections in patients with diabetes mellitus. Materials and Methods: The current prospective observational research was carried out on one hundred patients with confirmed diagnoses of diabetes mellitus admitted to the Medicine Dr DY Patil Medical College Hospital and Research Centre in Pimpri, Pune, from October 2020 and September 2023. After receiving approval from the institutional ethics committee, the research was carried out. Every patient had a thorough physical examination and complete history taking in accordance with the proforma. All of the collected information was input into a spreadsheet (Microsoft Excel 2010) and then transferred to the data editor in SPSS 20. (SPSS Inc., Chicago, Illinois, USA).
