Avascular necrosis of femoral head (AVNFH) is a progressive, multifactorial and challenging, debilitating disease affecting mostly the middle aged population. AVN can present with a broad spectrum of clinical manifestations ranging from incidental finding in asymptomatic patients to severe pain, functional limitations, and compromising the quality of life.1,
