Introduction: Cervical lymphadenopathy is very common presentation in clinical practice of our country. The cause of cervical lymphadenopathy can range from reactive lesion to tuberculosis to malignancy. Fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC) has arose as a sensitive, specific, and cost-effective procedure to diagnose cervical lymphadenopathy. Aim: The study was conducted to evaluate the role of FNAC in assessing various causes of cervical lymphadenopathy in different age groups based on different cytomorphological patterns.
