Psychological Abnormalities in Children with Minimal Change Nephrotic Syndrome

Abstract

Introduction: Children with chronic physical illnesses are generally considered at increased risk for behavior difficulties. Aim: To assess the psychological abnormalities in children with minimal change nephrotic syndrome. Methods: A cross sectional observational study on 150 patients clinically diagnosed with minimal change nephrotic syndrome and fulfilling inclusion (for cases) and exclusion criteria and 150 controls, conducted in the Pediatric department of a tertiary care hospital for 12 months i.e from September 2020 to august 2021. Data of study and control group were collected, compared and inferences were drawn after proper statistical analysis.
