Abstract: Purpose: To determine the prevalence of refractive errors among the type 2 diabetic population through a community-based study conducted in Lucknow. Background of the study: Diabetes prevalence is on the increase rapidly the epidemic proportions during development as well as the world developed. Refractive error in the diabetic population is considered a leading cause of visual impairment.
