Background: Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a chronic, debilitating disease constitutes a global health threat and burden, especially in developing countries. The objective of the study was to assess the prevalence of diabetes mellitus type-2 and its associated risk factors. Methods: This cross sectional study carried out in department of medicine, a tertiary care center, Rajasthan. Data on blood glucose levels, and anthropometric, demographic and clinical history data were obtained.
