Introduction: A Cochlear implant (CI) is surgically implanted electronic device that provide a sense of sound to a person with severe to profound sensorineural hearing loss. It helps in social rehabilitation of the patient with hearing loss. Cochlear implants, like the human hair cell, receive mechanical sound energy and convert it into a series of electrical impulses.
