Temple played a significant role in both the daily lives of kings and ordinary people. The residents of Thovalai Taluk practise many religions. The majority of individuals practise Hinduism. The centre and foundation of Hinduism are temples. The inscriptions that are inscribed on the temples gave the temples and the lives of the ancient monarchs more significance.
