Abstract

Abstract Bread wheat's grain yield and its component features have been studied genetically across a range of conditions, yielding important insights into the variables affecting wheat productivity. Grain yield and its constituents may be better understood and essential genes responsible for them can be identified by examining the relevant genetic variables. Bread wheat grain yield is a complicated variable regulated by several genes and their interactions with the environment, as shown through genetic study. Grain yield is influenced by several factors, including plant height, tiller number, spike length, spikelet number per spike, grain weight, and filling time. The 57 genotypes included 10 parents, 45 children from a halfdiallel mating pattern, and 2 reference varieties. Genotypes were examined.
