Abstract

Abstract: Gender Inequality, Gender Bias , Gender Stereotyping , Gender Discrimination all these terms screams the tales of misfortune and complex nature of the human beings. This issue is deeply rooted in our society. The funny thing is the plantation of this vicious tree is done by society itself. There was a tweet on twitter that said“ Traditions are nothing but peer pressure from the dead people”. The time has changed , the people have changed but this inequality has not. Gender Bias starts from one’s very own home and then it moves to school. Education plays an important role in every human’s life. It provides a necessary pathway to the humans to grow, to enrich and to live a happy life. But this very platform is corrupted by gender bias. We as society are responsible for it. The fact that we allowed it says a lot about us. Different policies have been introduced by the Government some work some don’t. Truth is an issue like this needs self-awareness. People should accept who they are and should stop looking for permission from others. In education, educators play an important role, they could bring a positive change in the society and could make the world easy for the students.
