Background: Peripheral vertigo can result from various causes, among which Benign peripheral paroxysmalvertigo (BPPV) is most common. Diagnosis of vertigo is usually made by a good clinical history, neurological, otological examination and radiological investigations. Video-nystagmography (VNG) tests are most accurate among all.
