This article provides a detailed description of the concept of modifier in linguistics. It is also mentioned in the artistic discourse that the modifiers of action are placed in a prepositive and postpositive form, and in some cases they are used as input. There are also examples of remote modifiers that are rarely used in English and Uzbek. In general, the semantic and pragmatic aspects of motion modifiers in discourse are analyzed in detail.
