Delayed peripartum cardiomyopathy, often known as PPCM, is an extremely uncommon illness that manifests itself by the gradual onset of signs of heart failure several months after delivery. We discuss the case of a 38-year-old primigravida who, after having an emergency cesarean surgery, developed delayed preterm premature contractions of the muscle. The patient's medical history included a previous diagnosis of hypothyroidism and obesity. This example demonstrates the significance of thinking about PPCM in patients who have risk factors, as well as the necessity of timely detection and therapy in order to achieve the best possible outcomes
