Aim: To study the correlation between IL6 and hsCRP (High sensitive C-reactive Protein) with Ischaemic stroke in patients on Antidiabetic therapy. Materials and Methods: We recruited 200 participants with Ischaemic stroke from both outpatient and in-patient. In this study patients were divided into two groups. Group A Ischaemic stroke with DM and group B withIschaemic stroke but without DM.Blood was drawn with minimally traumatic venipuncture for measurement of serum inflammatory markers. Blood was centrifuged by 3,000 g for 15 min at 4 °C, and then aliquots were stored at -70 °C. Serum hs-CRP was measured by latex turbidimetric immunoassay with a sensitivity of 0.01 mg/L. Serum IL-6 were measured by enzymelinked immunosorbent assay. With a sensitivity of 0.01 pg/mL. The detectable limit for Serum IL-6 was 0.01 pg/mL.
