The databases searched for this review were Medline/PubMed, Cochrane Library, SciELO, Web of Science, and Embase. The review was conducted following the criteria established by the Cochrane Collaboration and in accordance with the Preferred Reporting Items for Narrative Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) 2020 guidelines.
