Abstract

For cultural or religious reasons, adolescents are the prime time for circumcisions. [4] “Circumcision rates vary greatly depending on religious affiliation and occasionally due to culture. One of the following techniques is used for adult and teenage circumcision: the dorsal slit method or the sleeve method. The approach that is favoured is local anaesthesia. The present investigation used the widely recognised dorsal slit methodology. Suturing and dressing are necessary for all adult and teen circumcision techniques. Excessive bleeding, hematoma development, infection, poor aesthetic results, lacerations of the penis and damage to the glans, too little or too much foreskin removed, meatal stenosis, urine retention, phimosis, and buried penis are surgical consequences of male circumcision. Hemorrhage and infection are the most frequent consequences among all of these.”
