Introduction: The effectiveness of various imaging modalities in locating the mandibular canal was evaluated, including computed tomography (CT), panoramic radiography, and tomography. Cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT), a recently established imaging technique, appears to be a promising one that, when compared to conventional CT, also significantly lowers patient exposure.
