Abstract

This article is devoted to the study of foreign experience in obtaining evidence through remote investigative actions in order to consolidate the regulated procedure for their production and improve domestic criminal procedure legislation. The issues of legislative regulation of the procedure for using modern scientific and technical means conducting investigative actions in a remote mode are investigated on the basis of analysis of the criminal procedure legislation of Russia and the foreign states. The foreign practice of states regarding introduction and use of artificial intelligence technology is also analyzed. It is an auxiliary tool to remote investigative actions and to make procedural decisions in criminal cases. Special attention is paid to proposals to improve the legal regulation of criminal procedural evidence during remote investigative actions in the Russian Federation, as well as recommendations to use of artificial intelligence technology.
