MANETs possess a high degree of node mobility due to dynamic fluctuations in the network topology. It is difficult to construct a stable and reliable network path in such cases so data security plays a crucial role in such dynamic networks. In the proposed research methodology, an efficient collaborative attack detection scheme is proposed to identify the possible threats and attacks introduced by the malicious nodes in the network. Further, an optimization technique involving a hybrid CSA and GA algorithm is employed for enhancing the performance of the proposed CBD technique by improving the network strategy.
