Abstract: Over the past few years there has been a large change in the outlook and treatment modalities used in dentistry. Implants are considered to be the major breakthrough in the replacement of a lost tooth as, it has lots of pros and less of cons as explained earlier. After the loss of the maxillary molar tooth, the alveolar bone shows rapid resorption, and the size of the maxillary sinus also increases.
