Abstract
Aim: To determine the relationship between HbA1c and severity of retinopathy in diabetic patients. Objective: To assess the correlation between HbA1c levels and the presence of DR in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. To determine the extent and severity of DR in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and its relationship with HbA1c levels.To investigate whether HbA1c can serve as a predictor of DR in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus
