Abstract
Vitamin D is an important element for skeletal health and it may also affect extraskeletal health such as association with autoimmune diseases. Inclusive studies in have reported an association between thyroid autoimmunity and 25-hydroxyvitamin D (25-OHD). Therefore, in the present study, we examined the relationship between serum TSH levels and vitamin D status among patients with T2DM.
