Background - Tracheostomy is the creation of a stoma at the skin surface that leads into the tracheal lumen. It has been observed that tracheostomy is commonly indicated in patients in neuro ICU who require prolonged ventilation. Objective - Objective is to study the indications of tracheostomy in patients, timing of tracheostomy, its complications and outcomes.
