Abstract

The curriculum for medical graduates proposed by the MCI, has undergone significant changes. The new curriculum identifies essential skills, describes methods and contexts of teaching, and recognizes standardized measurement of competencies1 . It focuses on learning critical competencies needed for success in clinical practice and provides standards and a framework for measuring performance2 . It allows for self, objective, and multisource assessments with mandates to improve the quality of health care and enhance patient safety 3,4
