Household smoke exposure: Its effects and prevention
European Journal of Molecular & Clinical Medicine,
2023, Volume 10, Issue 2, Pages 169-172
Smoke inhaled from factories, wildfires, factories, motorbikes, and wood stoves has an impact on household pollution and its effects. The effects of smoke pollution have been studied.
Method: From December 2021 to November 2022, a thorough assessment of papers and reports conducted utilising the accessible resources to identify possible health concerns associated with smoke pollution in homes by Department of Community Medicine, TRR Institute of Medical Sciences, Warangal, India. Researchers gathered 125 publications and reports, 15 investigations were chosen.
Result: Lower respiratory ailments, heart disease, liver and kidney damage, pneumonia, asthma, and harm to the brain have all been linked to smoke pollution. Homelessness may worsen due to the increased burden of illnesses brought on by harmful pollutants in the atmosphere from smoke pollution, including dwarfed crops, water shortages, and water running dry. In many countries, it may also become impossible to pay for the costs of collective medication. The hazards are partially attributed to the combustion of biofuels like wood, manure, or coal, which affects the mechanisms that influence the accumulation of greenhouse gas emissions, particularly carbon dioxide, and the associated changing weather.
Conclusion: Our study suggests enduring new policies that advance public health and quality of life all throughout the globe.
The Impact Of School-Based Programme On Teenagers' Understanding Of The Adverse Health Repercussions Of Alcohol And Smoking
European Journal of Molecular & Clinical Medicine,
2022, Volume 9, Issue 8, Pages 1646-1658
Background: Drinking alcohol and smoking cigarettes are the two most prominent high-risk activities that are prevalent among adolescents in this era. The prevention of unhealthy behaviours in adolescents, such as drunkenness and smoking, is one of the most difficult tasks facing nurses in the 21st century. This is especially true when the adolescents are exposed to the habits of others around them in their environment. The adolescent years present an ideal window of opportunity to educate young people on the hazards posed by high-risk behaviours like smoking and drinking, as well as to instil in them the values and habits that will assist them avoid engaging in such dangerous pursuits in the future. The first goal is to determine whether or not the students at the selected school are aware of the negative impact that smoking and alcoholism have on one's health.
To evaluate the efficacy of health education programmes taught in schools regarding the harmful effects of smoking and drunkenness on one's body.
To determine whether or not there is a correlation between the level of the adolescent students and the sociodemographic factors that were chosen.
Medical History Management
European Journal of Molecular & Clinical Medicine,
2022, Volume 9, Issue 3, Pages 10739-10747
This application can be used to store our past medical records so that we can use it in future. In this application we can save our past health problems, which medication we used, which treatment we got, who treated us, cost, bills, scans, statements that both patients and doctors were given for our disease etc. So that we won’t be able to forget anything in future. Now a days doctors are asking their patients that he had any medical History in the past so that they can continue their treatment at present based on their past medical records. Life has become too hard in order to get appointment in case of any medical issue or normal routine checkup. the main aim of this site is to make easy and comfortable for the patient who are taking appointment of a doctor in nearby location and to resolve various problem that a patient had to face while taking an appointment. The website act as a database containing doctor details, patients detail, and appointment details are maintained by server and this website also has future of finding doctor near you using GPS and location sensing. In this paper we will discuss a video appointment solution using web technologies. The solution proposed is taking advantage of the web technologies to handle the doctor appointment. If the doctor and patient decides, they can have a video consult instead of a normal visit at the physician office. The appointments are made based on on time slots interval available in a day. These time slots are defined by the physician or by a delegated person. Video appointments are made inside a web browser; no additional software is required. Direct shifts of a new start-up need an android application or web application to overcome their connectivity issues among their customers. This start-up faces difficulties in connecting the patients, doctors, and hospitals. To overcome this problem this start-up requests a project which connects patients, doctors, and hospitals. So to fix their connectivity issues this research work presents a mobile application.

Health promotion programmes and health education lectures should be implemented for children and their families. School nurses, school staff and parents also have an important role in teaching the children how to practice good personal hygiene.
Most Common Side Effects Of Antibacterial Drugs In The Treatment Of Bacterial Infection
European Journal of Molecular & Clinical Medicine,
2020, Volume 7, Issue 10, Pages 3420-3426
Primum non nocere is a principle proclaimed by Hippocrates and remains relevant throughout the history of medicine. Unfortunately, pharmacotherapy does not always correspond to it. Although modern oral antibacterial drugs generally have a favorable safety profile, there are still many side effects. Antibacterial, like all medicines, have side effects, some of the side effects can be serious and some are dire. The use of antibacterial drugs in all areas of medicine, often unreasonable indications for their use, free access for the potential consumer - all this leads to irrational use of drugs, starting from an early age. More than 50% of diseases are infectious in nature. Infectious drugs account for 20% of all drugs currently used in medicine. The misuse of antibiotics is fraught with the development of antimicrobial resistance in the pathogen.

Human Agency, Social Structure and Forming of Health Consciousness and Perception
European Journal of Molecular & Clinical Medicine,
2020, Volume 7, Issue 7, Pages 5910-5916
The social context of an individual shapes the risk of exposure, susceptibility of the host, and disease’s course and outcome, even if the disease is infectious, genetic, malignant, or degenerative. For example Conley at al. (2003) in their study among two groups of couples where one is high income and the other is low income group, along with each group has same 20 percent biological predisposition toward having a low-birth-weight baby finds that social variables can reverse the biological disadvantage. They found that the high income group has a very high probability of dealing with their biological predisposition through better nutrition and prenatal care. Their study shows that social factors can reverse the biological risk, for example by explaining how income translate into better education, living situation, jobs, quality medical care, and a good diet and other healthy lifestyle practices.
Role of Physicians and Human Behavior in Smoking Cessation
European Journal of Molecular & Clinical Medicine,
2020, Volume 7, Issue 6, Pages 1351-1360
Smoking is a process in which a drug is ingested and smoke is absorbed into the blood stream. Tobacco smoking is mostly used as a prescribing pathway for illicit drug consumption because burning of the dried plant leaves vaporizes and absorbs illegal drugs with accelerated ingestion through the bloodstream through the lungs and enters the body's tissue. The dried leaves of the tobacco plant, which are rolled onto a tiny square of rice paper, are one of the most widely used in smoking and make a thin, circular ring which are traditionally called "cigarettes." Cigarettes are mostly developed by manufacturers, but may also be laminated by the hand using loose tobacco & rolling paper. Other tools include cigars, pipes, bidis, hookahs, bongs & smoking vaporizers. The paper explains the impacts of smoking on the health of the human race and seeks to identify obstacles and drivers for cessation of smoking.

FEATURES OF THE INFLUENCE OF PESTICIDES DIFFERENT BY THE SPECIFICITY OF AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION ON HEALTH INDICATORS OF CHILDREN
European Journal of Molecular & Clinical Medicine,
2020, Volume 7, Issue 2, Pages 2455-2462
Abstract: We examined the data of appeals to outpatient clinics in order to detect the
incidence of pneumonia in children in areas with different intensities of pesticide usage. It
was found that in the areas of intensive usage of pesticides (cotton growing area) in
children aged 0-4 years, acute pneumonia is recorded 3-5 times more often than in the
zone of limited usage of pesticides (livestock area). The static differences are significant.
The prevalence of acute pneumonia among girls is 7–20% higher than among boys. The
highest level of respiratory diseases is found at the age of 1 to 4 years. With the increase in
the territorial burden of pesticides, the level of perinatal pathology and the number of
premature infants increase. The data confirm that acute pneumonia and other respiratory
diseases are more common in the cotton growing area than in the livestock one. However,
the study of the regional characteristics of the incidence of children has established that in
the general structure of the respiratory diseases, pneumonia occupies the first place.

A Review Study On Challenges To Alter Health Behavior?
European Journal of Molecular & Clinical Medicine,
2020, Volume 7, Issue 7, Pages 5576-5581
To show that six common mistakes in initiatives to improve conduct hindered the application of psychological and sociological empirical evidence; to propose a novel method that integrates existing behavioural research trends. The role of health actions in the root of the global non-communicable disease outbreak has been seen to contribute to attempts to alter conduct. It should be remembered that most attempts to improve health habits have been quite effective. This paper argues that debates on behaviour change in political decision-making contain six widespread mistakes, and that these errors have made the business of behaviour change far more complicated than appropriate. Overview on strategies and procedures that improve behaviour. The explanations why awareness and knowledge of actions have changed too far in the prevention of tobacco, food and physical inactivity disorders are considered and an alternate solution is introduced. This model takes advantage of emerging advances in behavioural research. The previous psychological and sociological situations must be recognized and psychological theories about the automated and reflective processes should be coupled with sociological ideas on social practice.

AWARENESS ABOUT EFFECT OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITY IN CONTROLLING SYSTEMIC DISEASE AMONG DENTAL STUDENTS: A SURVEY
European Journal of Molecular & Clinical Medicine,
2020, Volume 7, Issue 1, Pages 591-599
The aim of this study is to get awareness about the benefits of physical activity and its effect on dental students. Recently, it has been recognized that lack of physical activity , especially regular stretching of arms and legs, may affect the course and pathogenesis of a number of systemic diseases such as cardiovascular disease, bacterial pneumonia, diabetes mellitus and low birth weight. The purpose of this study is to get awareness about the importance of physical activities and their benefits during the busy schedule of dental students. Dentistry is a field of challenges, especially the health of a budding dentist must be on top priority . A well maintained body is equal to a peaceful mind and it can be attained only through exercise. A cross sectional questionnaire survey was conducted. A total of 104 people of Saveetha Dental College were made to answer all the questions. The result will be analyzed using statistical analysis.
In this study, it was found that 90% are aware of the effect of physical activity to control systemic disease and only 14% are not aware of the statement. It has been proven that physically active individuals gain less weight over time and maintain good health. Thus infrastructure improvements such as sports activity in colleges among faculties, combined with regular exercise provide additional physical activity that would help to reduce obesity and non-communicable diseases in the future.
IMPACT OF FAST FOOD ON DEPRESSION IN THE ADOLESCENT POPULATION
European Journal of Molecular & Clinical Medicine,
2020, Volume 7, Issue 1, Pages 532-539
Depression In adolescence is linked with a range of adverse outcomes and substantial risk for morbidity
and mortality across the life span. Fast food is a common element of many adolescent’s diets. This leads to
pediatric obesity and the consequence could be increased risk of depression. A diet high in sodium could
develop symptoms of depression in early adolescence and that diet could be a modifiable risk factor for
depression in adolescent patients. The aim of the study is to evaluate the association between fast food
intake and mental health in the adolescent population. An online questionnaire was prepared and circulated
among the adolescent population. The sample size is 100. The data was tabulated and then imported to
SPSS software by IBM and the statistical Chi square test was done.Out of 100 adolescents, 71% were
females and 29% of them were males. 81% of them follow a mixed diet. 90% of the adolescents consume
fast food. The prevalence of consumption of fast food is much higher in the adolescent population. Out of
various types of fast foods, the prevalence of consumption of sweets is much higher in the adolescent
population. And most
EFFECT OF SMOKING ON GINGIVAL HEALTH - A REVIEW
European Journal of Molecular & Clinical Medicine,
2020, Volume 7, Issue 1, Pages 1346-1352
Smoking is recognised as a risk factor for human health. It is related to many problems like respiratory problems, cardiovascular disease, cancer, etc. Smoking is associated with incidence of gingivitis, periodontitis, epithelial malignancy in the oral cavity. It increases the number and depth of periodontal patients. Loss of tissue strength caused due to harmful compounds like tobacco, increase gingival recession and changes to the oral cavity. Prevalence of moderate and severe diseases are higher in smokers than non-smokers. Smoking affects both gingival epithelium and connective tissue. Density of blood vessels is decreased in smokers. Effect of smoking on vascular status is caused by nicotine compounds. This review was done based on the articles obtained from various platforms like PubMed, PubMed central and Google Scholar. They were collected with a restriction in time basis from 2000-2020. The inclusion criteria were original research papers. In vitro, studied among various conditions and articles that contain pros and cons. Exclusion criteria came into account for review articles, retracted articles and articles of other languages. All the articles are selected based on the effect of smoking on gingival health. Thus, smoking results in various oral health problems like incidence of gingivitis, periodontitis, epithelial malignancy in the oral cavity. It affects gingival recession and changes to the oral mucosa. This review article gives knowledge about the correlation between smoking and health of gingival treatment with various dental problems.
FOODS THAT CAN BE AVOIDED TO MAINTAIN IMMUNITY
European Journal of Molecular & Clinical Medicine,
2020, Volume 7, Issue 1, Pages 390-396
Foods contain various substances which control the physiological functions of the body, modulating
immune responses which is one among the important functions of foods. Immune functions are
indispensable for defending the body against attack by pathogens or cancer cells and plays a pivotal role
in the maintenance of health. The immune system is supported by the fragile balance that comes with a
healthy lifestyle. Adequate sleep, exercise, and, of course, a healthful diet all contribute to maintaining the
body’s system of defense against illnesses. The immune system acts to guard the host from infectious
agents that exist within the environment and from other noxious insults. Nutritional deficiencies seem to
weaken the immune system leading to increased disease and mortality. Extrinsic factors can adversely
affect immune responses producing states of secondary immunodeficiency and a consequent increased risk
of infections. After all, a healthy body and sane mind is all we would like to survive the challenges of this
fast paced world. So it is important to take care of a healthy immune system. In addition to knowledge of
foods which boosts immunity, it is also important to know the foods that should be avoided to maintain a
healthy immune system. This study reviews the foods that can be avoided to maintain immunity and thus
promote the immune system.
