Abstract. Natural resource management is an indispensable part of the economy,
while land use as an objective continuous multi-purpose process of land use by society acts
as its most important component subsystem. Land resources are used in all spheres of
society's activity-economic, social and environmental. Under the global model of economic
growth, the load on natural resources has reached its maximum size. In some regions of
the world and landscape ecosystems around the world, the risk of environmental disaster
was growing. Objectively, there is a need to move from a model of economic growth to a
model of sustainable development, including sustainable environmental management.
Land use is the most important component of the environmental management system. In
order to translate the inefficient system of land use in Uzbekistan to the model of its
sustainable development, the main criteria and principles were studied and established,
and the definition of sustainable land use was given.

European Journal of Molecular & Clinical Medicine, 2020, Volume 7, Issue 1, Pages 4613-4620

The most dangerous likelihood of the present century is the speedy
downgrading of the quality of our environment. Our universe exists in the environment.
There will be the destruction of Earth and the Universe if there is any change in the
environment. The disasters done by the past generation are what the present generation is
facing. Resources of non-renewable energy are diminishing, and making use of the same
is getting harmful. The government is making arrangements for disposing of renewable
resources and justifiable development along with education of safeguarding the
environment. Every citizen should be made aware and responsible for safeguarding our
natural environment. Education is the best way to make everyone understand the
importance of sensitivity and responsiveness concerning Environmental awareness. A total
of 167 people were surveyed, with 54.49 percent of men and 45.51 percent of women, using
a standard questionnaire with a five-point interval scale. The survey's results were
calculated using the mean and the t-test. As a result of the findings, it was discovered that
education plays a critical role in raising public consciousness about environmental
education in the twenty-first century.
