Correlation between QTc interval and the values of waist-hip ratio measured in young healthy male and female adults

The study was conducted with male and female subjects, 32 in each study group. The WHR (Waist Hip Ratio) and QTc (Correction of QT interval) were measured and the correlation was obtained by statistical analysis. The WHR and QTc are both negatively correlated in both male and female subjects. But, this finding is statistically insignificant. On the other hand the mean QTc in male subjects is more than that in female subjects. This finding is statistically significant.
