Introducing Innovative Technologies To Increase Energy Efficient Buildings
European Journal of Molecular & Clinical Medicine,
2021, Volume 8, Issue 1, Pages 1003-1010
Energy efficiency and energy conservation are priority areas of energy policy in most countries of the world. First of all, this is due to the exhaustion of non-renewable fuel and energy resources, the absence of real alternatives to their replacement, the presence of risks and significant costs in their production and transportation
Daylighting And Lighting Energy Saving In South-Oriented Open-Plan Office With Light Shelf In The Tropics
European Journal of Molecular & Clinical Medicine,
2020, Volume 7, Issue 3, Pages 723-744
This paper examined the performance of a light shelf (LS) as a delighting device for reducing electric light usage in a south-oriented open-plan office (OPO) under the sky in the tropic using Integrated Environmental Solution Virtual Environment (IES VE). Results showed that the LS improved daylight quantity of the one-sided light office by reducing the excessive illumination at the area close to the window opening but increased it at the back where the illuminance is low. The improvement at the rear was from 1.55 % (LS 3 at noon on 21st March) to 2.99 % (LS 2 on 22nd June at noon). The LS also improved illuminance uniformity for visual comfort in the room with the best three test cases ranging from 74.07 % (LS 2 and 7) to 76.67 % (L3) compared to the case without LS. The selected test cases showed higher illuminance distribution between adjacent points or possible sitting position in the room than the base case (BC). The reduction in electric light usage ranged from 11.78 % (LS 3) to 15.97 % (LS 2). Hence, the paper concludes that LS improved daylight and electric energy efficiency. Therefore, the LS 2 is recommended for the south-oriented OPO with one-sided lighting in the tropical climate.
Green-Centric Communication Void Avoidance for Underwater Wireless Sensor Networks
European Journal of Molecular & Clinical Medicine,
2020, Volume 7, Issue 3, Pages 745-759
Recently, there is rapid interest in the study of Underwater Wireless Sensor Network (UWSN), which is due to it verse applications such as pollution monitoring, seismic monitoring, equipment monitoring, disaster prevention, tactical surveillance, oceanography data gathering, and assisted navigation. Meanwhile, the realization of these applications is confronted with some underwater limitations namely, acoustic channel constraint, limited bandwidth, and water pressure. Several routing algorithms have been developed to achieve efficient data gathering. However, these algorithms are challenged with communication void problem. The communication void problem leads to packet drop/error and high energy consumption in the course of data packet forwarding. Therefore, in this paper, an improved communication void avoidance mechanism for UWSN has been proposed for handling void hole during data packet forwarding considering dislodgment of sensor nodes. The performance of the proposed mechanism has been evaluated against the adapted adjustment mechanism to confirm its benefit based on different data packet forwarding and energy efficiency metrics.
ON THE METHOD OF ENSURING THE QUALITY OF CONCRETE MIX AND CONCRETE ON THE LINES OF FORMLESS MOLDING OF REINFORCED CONCRETE PRODUCTS
European Journal of Molecular & Clinical Medicine,
2020, Volume 7, Issue 2, Pages 695-700
This article presents the results of the production of reinforced concrete products by the formless molding method. On the basis of the experimental studies carried out, the relationship between the required mobility of the concrete mixture and the value of OC was established. The above research results make it possible to determine the OK of a concrete mixture during mixing and, as a result, to correct the composition of concrete without interruption during the mixing process.
ASSESSMENT OF THE POTENTIAL OF COMPOSITE GYPSUM BINDER BRICKS AS AN ALTERNATIVE TO TRADITIONAL WALL MATERIALS IN UZBEKISTAN
European Journal of Molecular & Clinical Medicine,
2020, Volume 7, Issue 2, Pages 1884-1889
Abstract: The article discusses the possibility of producing bricks from a composite
gypsum binder of increased water resistance from local raw materials and man-made
waste. Experimental data demonstrate the dependence of the characteristics of the binder
on the ratio of its components. The authors provide a comparative analysis of energy
efficiency and other features of bricks made of the composite material and other wall
materials.Q
