Abdullah Yavuz AKINCI

European Journal of Molecular & Clinical Medicine, 2023, Volume 10, Issue 1, Pages 2871-2880

In the study, it was aimed to examine the relationship between primary school teachers' perception of school climate and teacher motivation. 162 primary school teachers selected randomly among 714 teachers working in central primary schools affiliated to Isparta Provincial Directorate of National Education participated in the research. During the data collection process, the participants were informed about the study and questionnaires in line with the permission obtained from the Isparta Governorate and were asked to fill in the personal information form, school climate scale and primary school teacher motivation scales. The obtained data were analyzed in the computer environment, the variables were expressed using mean ± standard deviation, percentage and frequency values, and Pearson correlation analysis was applied for the dependent variables.
In conclusion, the research proves the existence of an effect on teacher motivation. The results are in line with previous studies highlighting the important role that school climate and perceived positive motivation play in increasing teacher job satisfaction. A healthy interaction between school climate factors creates an enriching environment that pushes teachers to achieve higher goals of excellence. Based on these findings, at school, education district and provincial level; school climate perception, which is considered as an important determinant of teachers' perceptions and motivations regarding workplace conditions, needs to be made into an education policy.

European Journal of Molecular & Clinical Medicine, 2022, Volume 9, Issue 3, Pages 5451-5454

Background: Motivational Interviewing can be used as a brief intervention to boost
incentive for patients to modify their dental hygiene habits, as well as a framework for
delivering nutrition, smoking cessation, oral health modifications, and alcohol
recommendations. The Chair Side Talk approach is a pre- or post-treatment extension
activity performed by the instructor while the patient is being treated. The goal of this
study is to determine the effectiveness of extending oral health information as well as
motivation using the chairside talk method.
Research methodology: This study employs a one-group quasi experiment approach of
pre- and post-testing. A total of 255 people took part in the study, all of whom went to
the Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology's dental O.P.D. on a single day. The
dependent variable was oral health knowledge, and the independent variable was chair
side talk method. Patients were given questionnaires, then counselled and motivated
using the chairside talk method, and at following appointments, the patient was given
another questionnaire. Using the paired t-test for data analysis.
Result: Before counselling only 20% of the subjects knowledge was graded as well, but
after counselling there was improvement in knowledge about oral health as, 81.56%
subjects were graded well, The findings of the paired t-test revealed that chairside talk
counselling was beneficial in enhancing dental health knowledge. The p-value of 0.001
demonstrated this.
Conclusion: Counselling and motivational interviewing of the subjects by chair side talk
method is an effective behaviour change method, which can be utilized in the dental
practice setting.

The substantiation of the content of education is one of the most important and traditional problems of didactics. Taking into account the social essence and pedagogical affiliation of the educational content, it can be defined as a pedagogical model of a social order addressed to the educational system. This model has a multilevel hierarchical structure. At the highest level - the level of general theoretical representation, the content of education is fixed in the form of generalized systemic knowledge about the composition, elements, structure and functions of social experience transmitted to students. At the level of the academic subject, an understanding of the individual parts of the content that carry specific functions in education is developed. Therefore, approaches to solving the problem of the content of education depend on the social order, the goals of education and training

It is an unforgivable mistake to underestimate the role of motivation in the formation of a healthy lifestyle, to look at it as an insignificant issue, to ignore the requirements in this regard. Focusing on some of the technological challenges of shaping lifestyles, it is important to note that science cannot rely on a flow of science-based information to find solutions to existing problems, both in science and in the process of shaping a healthy lifestyle. Motivation is based on the fact that people need to work hard to ensure their health, which is an important vital need, and not to leave it in the clutches of fate and the vortex of life.

European Journal of Molecular & Clinical Medicine, 2020, Volume 7, Issue 8, Pages 97-103

There is broad consideration that ICT is a resource that promotes more meaningful learning, allowing students to acquire a set of skills considered key. These competencies allow him to face new challenges and solve difficulties both associated with the educational process and the context in which this student is located, making him more able to adapt the knowledge, skills and values acquired to reality. This article raises this issue by emphasizing the potentials of ICT in the classroom, in particular robotics, for both teachers and students. This means accepting that ICT has made changes to classroom interaction but, above all, in the methodology that vertebrates the teaching-learning process.
The main objective of this study is to know whether the motivation and interest of students is increased when using robotics in the classroom as a technique integrated into active methodologies focused on digital use and management while knowing more positive socio-affective relationships are established between students.
The methodological process adopted in the study responds to the quantitative paradigm. A sample of 150 secondary school students was used, who were given a questionnaire to learn about their perception of the use of educational robotics. The results have shown how the use of robotics increases motivation in the teaching-learning process and how the relationships between students have acquired positive value.
The results of the study also allow for a broader reflection of the educational community on an issue of interest to adapt teaching-learning processes to current needs: does the implementation of robotics in the teaching-learning process facilitate student training in different areas of knowledge and promote mechanisms that increase motivation?

The main purpose of this study is to examine undergraduate students’ motivation to participate in Basketball in universities in Kurdistan, Iraq. The participants are first year undergraduate students who study physical education course in universities in Kurdistan. In this study, survey study is used and Sport Motivation Scale (SMS) is used as research instrument to collect data from all the participants motivated by intrinsic motivation, extrinsic motivation and autonomous motivation to participate in Basketball based on gender difference and frequency of participation. There are 608 participants (441 male students and 167 female students) in this study. Mann-Whitney U test(M-W) shows significant difference in motivation to participate in Basketball among undergraduate students in Iran based on gender and frequency of participation. Intrinsic motivation toward accomplishment and extrinsic motivation such as Identified Regulation, Introjected Regulation and External Regulation strongly motivates the female students to involve in learning and improving Basketball skills and also experiencing pleasure as well as being part of exciting experiences. This study also shows that the frequency of participation among undergraduate students in Basketball is increased by extrinsic motivation (Identified Regulation, Introjected Regulation and External Regulation). Therefore, these results also clarify that motivation to participate in Basketball based on frequency of participation and gender is closely related in extrinsic motivation

The purpose of this study is to investigate and examine the effectiveness of motivational intervention towards the performance among secondary school football athletes in Malaysia. The instrument that have been used in this study is Task and Ego Orientation in Sports Questionnaire (TEOSQ) from Goal Orientation Theory (Duda & Nicholls, 1992) and Perception of Success Questionnaire (POSQ) from Transtheoretical Model (Roberts, Treasure & Balague, 1998). The sample in this study consists of 36 school boys representing SMK (L) Methodist Kuala Lumpur and SMK Methodist Sentul football players under 15 years. These samples were divided into two groups. They are the control group which consist of 18 players (n=18) from SMK Methodist Sentul and treatment group which consist of 18 players (n=18) from SMK (L) Methodist, Kuala Lumpur. The study design that used is quasi experimental method with the pre and post-test design. The finding of the study shows that there was a significant difference (t=0.004, P<0.05) in football performance between the control and the treatment group after which the treatment group undergone 6 weeks test and observation before the real competition. Prior to this study, the finding of this research give a clear picture to the teachers and coaches to design motivation program into their coaching planning.
