Abstract

Abstract: In this paper, an attempt is made to know the preferences of mutual funds and to examine the importance of socioeconomic factors that influence investor's choice to make investments. This study seeks to evaluate the significance of population demographic characteristics such as gender, education, jobs, income over investment decisions. Considering its relevance to the research objectives, the hypotheses have been created. Investment decision-making behaviour has been taken as variable-dependent, and demographic variables (age, gender, and education) are considered independent. Classified records. Tabulated and put to the test. The use of the hypothesis and Pearson's chi-square method was used to draw statistical inferences.
