As the surface temperature of solar photovoltaic (PV) panels rises, the efficiency with which they convert sunlight into usable energy drops. Consequently, reducing its surface temperature is the most alluring strategy for improving its performance. This paper presents an experimental study of back surface Pv cooling technique with Cu tubes. Results revealed that the cool panel has got better performance than the non-cooled panel. This is confirmed from the exergy analysis that the average exergy efficiency is 2.91% and 12.96% for the noncooled and cooled panel respectively.
